A spring evening stroll

Brigitte and I took a walk through the city tonight, from Kamppii towards Ullanlinna. We were aiming for a second-hand store to look at a chair Brigitte had spotted last week (since it looks like we’ve now secured an apartment – more information to follow once we’ve seen the contract). We some how missed the shop, but found a really beautiful part of the city. Definitely worth another visit in warmer weather (it was fairly windy and + 2 °C).

We popped into Stockmann‘s bookshop on the way home – the Akateeminen kirjakauppa (Academic bookshop). An amazing place – I look forward to visiting again.

The Akateeminen kirjakauppa has three stories of books (it is linked to the main Stockmann store by an underground stationery store)

And with a little bit of snow falling, we headed home to some of Brigitte’s famous Thai curry. All in all, a good evening. Hyvää yöta all ( = good night)

I'm not sure why these lights are up, but I enjoyed them.
